My Quirks

7) Alice in Wonderland: I can't say 'no' to Alice.

I love pretty much anything Alice In Wonderland-related, except the Disney cartoon version... I'm not a Disney fan, in general.... so yeah...

There's just something completely wonderful about it. I like non-sense and silly things, and that book and its sequel are pretty much the epitome of such things. From Tom Waits' album, Alice to random figurines dressed as Alice and co., to Tim Burton's rendition, I love them all.

6) Weird Sounds: my mother tongue.

I make a lot of weird sounds. Sometimes I'll just sit at my kitchen table and make dinosaur sounds until my mom tells me to shut up.

I make them all the time, for any reason. Out of chocolate? Just stubbed my toe? See a cute kitty cat? Yup. There's pretty much a sound for everything.

Because I have a lot of trouble expressing myself in English (or any language), I've pretty much concluded that weird sounds are my mother tongue.

5) Chez Cora : the owner of my heart.

I go to Chez Cora a lot. There was a time when I would go weekly... I even have one of those Cora stamp cards in my wallet (and only need about 3 more stamps before getting another free breakfast).

I blame her wonderful food and super adorable happy-sun mascot.

Look at that face? Can YOU resist that face? Didn't think so.

4) Hiccups: I has them.

I have hiccups. All the time. Every day. They sound like a squeak toy/mouse/baby dinosaur. People don't usually believe me at first when I tell them that the weird sound they're hearing is coming from me... No one knows why I hiccup either ... : /

3) Crafting: I make cute shit.

See?

I don't craft often, but when I do, serious shit goes down. Check out this Gaga plush I made. Making felt Kermits = harder than it looks. Never underestimate miniature frogs.

2) Pullip Dolls: A new love.

I never used to like dolls. I never really played with Barbies. But then I discovered Pullip dolls at the beginning of this year, and have flushed away a good part of my money on adorable fashion dolls :D What I like about them is the fact that they're totally customizable. I prefer making them to simply collecting them, but it's time-consuming, so I've only made two ^^

This guy here's pretty much my pride and joy. Never fixed his pants... I'm a bad mother.

Talking about bad mother, poor Gaga still hasn't been completed. This is why I should never have real kids. I'd leave them in a box for a month and hope they'll figure things out on their own...

I need to take a better picture of the rest of the family. They need representation here too XD

1) Dinosaurs: Dinos and I go way back.

Every now and then they may try to eat me, but deep down, I know they care. XD

See?
